I've managed to recreate your calculation in excel so I could see what sort of calculated hit percentages would look like with some of my more used current ships that have a lot less evade than your BC example.
Calculated hit percentages (using your scoria missile example) look terrible unless I get over 47.5% evade. 47.5% evade gave a 99.75% hit percentage. I doubt a 0.25% loss of hit accuracy is worth the effort :(

Thanks for explaining stuff. You're a nice bloke!Pedronicushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07440071618494319331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7035623670436514943.post-2799550282581378222016-12-29T12:38:24.731-08:002016-12-29T12:38:24.731-08:00Thanks for taking the time to put this together it...Thanks for taking the time to put this together it is helpful!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7035623670436514943.post-63397559236197165722016-12-27T22:59:10.093-08:002016-12-27T22:59:10.093-08:00What are you talking about? Thats the million dollar question. I think probably, as you would need a large splash area, and a fast projectile speed, if you are shooting at a 65 combat speed ship.

Then again, kixeye might make it AOE, and huge damage, so if you stop you die.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
